Dr. Lindsey Balaban

Dr. Lindsey Balaban-Nowland was born and raised right here in Cape Coral. After graduating from Mariner High School, she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry while playing NCAA soccer at Nova Southeastern University. She then completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Valedictorian. After six years of practicing dentistry in Boston and Toronto, she decided to return home to Southwest Florida with her husband, who is also a dentist.

Dr. Balaban has a strong commitment to learning the latest cutting-edge procedures and techniques for her patients. Most recently she completed a rigorous Mastership in Biomimetic Dentistry, which is an emerging field of dentistry that promotes a highly scientific and conservative approach to managing complex cases. In addition to her studies, Dr. Balaban and her husband helped launch the dental company Overjet, a major dental ‘Artificial Intelligence’ company that grew out of M.I.T. research in Boston. There she continues to supervise a large group of dentists that are helping create tools that are revolutionizing the use of AI-assisted dental radiograph interpretation, and more!

In her spare time, you can catch her spending time with her toddler, Oliver, and husband, Chris. They enjoy spending time at the beach, culinary arts, gardening, and traveling.

Dr. Balaban welcomes the opportunity to meet and discuss any dental questions you may have. She recognizes the unique position of trust that dentists hold and aims to provide high-quality care in a warm and gentle manner. She is passionate about prevention and patient education, and when treatment is indicated, her work is thoughtful, minimally invasive, and precise.
